The Naional Youth Service Corps Public Relations Officer in Ogun State ,Mrs. Florence Takum confirmed the incident, but, quickly said there was no death.

Takum said ,the affected corps members were deployed to the state for the service and had just finished their orientation week in Sagamu camp.

She said the corps members were going to their places of primary assignment before the accident ,saying none of them died nor injured .

She said “Nothing happened to all of them. NYSC is aware of the accident . They were going to their places of primary assignment when the accident occurred.

“None of them is dead. And they not seriously injured . We have brought them back to the camp. We took them to hospital and were treated before we took them back to the camp.

“There is no cause for alarm . All of them are okay. We have closed the camp today but, the principal officers stayed behind in the camp to take care of them”.
