Senate President Bukola Saraki made it to the Senate to preside over Tuesday’s plenary despite earlier being barricaded by police on his street in Abuja.
Early this morning, Lake Chad Crescent, the street leading to Saraki’s home in Maitama district, Abuja was barricaded by police, according to tweets posted by Bankole Omisore, the aide of the Senate President.
