Barely 24 hours after his arrest by the Police for unlawful possesion of firearms and subsequent arraignment before a magistrate court at Ebute Meta in Lagos, popular musician, Adekunle Temitope, also known as ‘Small Doctor,’ has been granted bail from police custody along with two other respondents paraded on Monday, to two sureties with N5 million bond each.
Delivering her ruling on Tuesday, presiding magistrate, A. O. Komolafe, who ruled in favour of the artiste that he had licence to carry a gun, advised him and others arraigned alongside him to be of good behaviour, and also made an order banning them for a period of one year, not to engage, recruit, instigate or incite any member of the Shogunle community and Lagos State by extension.
Similarly, the singer in a post on his twitter handle has acknowledged support from his fans over the development, and put up a reminder for his concert scheduled to hold this Sunday.
