the management of Standard Alliance Insurance Plc has informed its shareholders, stakeholders and the investing public that the company will be unable to file the audited financial statements for the year ended December 31, 2016 within the extended due date as approved by the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
Consequently, the company stated that it would be unable to file its management account for period ended March 31, 2017 within the extended due date as approved by the NSE.
It said it had submitted its audited financial statements for year ended December 31, 2016 to its primary regulator, the National Insurance Commission and was awaiting approval before submission to the NSE.
“We are therefore optimistic that submission will be done on or before June 30, 2017,” the insurer pleaded.
