Captain Ado Sanusi, the Managing Director of Aero Contractors, has yesterday faulted the stolen aircraft claims at the Lagos airport.

It had been reported of two Bombardier Dash 8 Q300 jets were stolen at the airport.

Sanusi, who stated that the processes of moving an aircraft are quite tedious and nowhere in the world is it possible to successful steal an airplane, said the claim was false. He said:

“How in the world do you think its is possible to just steal an airplane without record. It is quite disheartening how Nigerians tend to believe anything that is reported in the media, even if it is false news. I repeat, no one can steal a airplane at a commercial airport”
