A former governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party in Delta State, Chief Sunny Onuesoke, has asked the National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, to stop using labour tactics to intimidate members of the National Assembly.

Onuesoke accused Oshiomhole of using blackmail to coerce members of NASS and Nigerians to fall for his cheap political tactics, adding that none of such could remove the leadership of the Senate in particular.

In a statement signed by Onuesoke, a copy of which was made available to The PUNCH on Tuesday, Onuesoke said, “Adams Oshiomhole mistakes labour union for politics; He is bringing into politics his tactics of blackmail and intimidation during his days as a union leader into the political fray. His desperation to see Saraki removed as the Senate president in an attempt to reward his paymaster is not only callous but also uncalled for.”

He contended that the manner Oshiomhole was going about his position would spell doom for the ruling APC faster than what Nigerians think.

“Since his assumption as the chairman of the factional ruling party, he has been going about threatening brimstone and fire.

“First he threatened to expel a serving minister and now he is championing ‘Saraki must go,” Onuesoke added.
