I won’t want to agree with former President Olusegun Obasanjo that President Muhammadu Buhari will rig the general election. President Buhari is a product of free and fair election, therefore, I expect him to have the decency to conduct one. The possible rigging that can happen will be ‘see and buy.’

Imo, like every other state of the Federal Republic of Nigeria has just three senatorial districts of unequal delimitations namely; Imo West (Orlu Senatorial zone), Imo East (Owerri senatorial zone) and Imo North (Okigwe Senatorial zone). Orlu zone has 12 Local Government Areas, Owerri zone has 9 while Okigwe zone has only six 6 bringing the total number of Local Government Areas to 27.

ABUJA— AFTER two days of exchanging brick-bats regarding the 2019 presidential poll, President Muhammadu Buhari met and shook hands with former President Olusegun Obasanjo, yesterday, on a day the National Council of State approved N27,000 as minimum wage for states and the private sector and the Federal Government saying it would pay N30,000 to federal workers.
