Why youths must engage in political participation—Presidential aide

Mr Tolu Ogunlesi, the Special Adviser to the President on Digital and New media, has advised  Nigerian youths to engage in political participation  if they are determined to serve the nation.
Ogunlesi  spoke at the Fourth Seminar Series of Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy (ISGPP) in Ibadan.
Newsmen report that the theme of the seminar was:  “ Progress, Setbacks and Opportunities for Youth Political Inclusion: A Scrutiny of the Not Too Young to Run Act.’’
Ogunlesi also said Nigerians must ensure that the Not Too Young To Run Act achieved its intended benefits.

2019: Vote out parties without tickets for youths, Group urges Nigerians

The Not-Too-Young-To-Run Movement on Monday in Abuja called on youths not to vote for any political party that did not reserve tickets for young people and women.
One of the Strategy Team members of the movement, Ms Cynthia Mbamalu, made the call at a news briefing on National Day of Action on Youth Candidacy and Democratic Party Primaries.
Mbamalu said that the movement was a non-partisan group that galvanised young people across political parties to be recognised and given the opportunity to aspire for political positions.
