MAIDUGURI—THE All Progressives Congress, APC, National Leader and former Governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has applauded Governor Kashim Shettima of Borno State for being consistent, resilient and committed to the yearnings and aspirations of his people, especially, the victims of Boko Haram insurgency.

Tinubu spoke, yesterday, at Benisheikh and Ngamdu towns during his two-day visit to Maiduguri to commission some post-insurgency projects initiated by the Borno State government for the thousands of orphans, widows, widowers and vulnerable groups, who had suffered devastation in the past seven years of the Boko Haram crisis.
Bola Asiwaju was accompanied by the pioneer and former National Chairman of APC, Chief Adebisi Akande, and Former Presidential Liaison Officer to the National Assembly and former Borno State PDP governorship candidate, Matawalle Kashim Ibrahim Imam, among others.
Tinubu expressed delight with the volume of projects executed and thanked God for the governor identifying him as the person to commission the projects.
