A former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, has decried what he described as “leadership crisis,” lamenting that too many leaders today think it’s about them.
Annan added that leadership was all about service, without which there would be crisis.
Annan was talking at a public lecture holding at the Centre on Democracy, Development and the Rule of Law, Stanford University, California, USA.
He said this at a public discussion he held alongside American political scientist, political economist, and author, Fukuyama Francis, in front of a full house at the tertiary institution’s Handa Centre.
The event was tagged #Annanstanford18.
