Bring Back Our Girls campaigners, Oby Ezekwesili, Aisha Yesufu and others who were present during the march to protest the killings that took place in Plateau State over the weekend, were, on Tuesday, tackled by security operatives.

A video on the ‘Enough is Enough Nigeria’ Twitter handle, shows the women being tackled by the security operatives who tries to stop them from going beyond a particular boundary.

The security operatives include gun-wielding mobile policemen as well as plainclothes operatives.

Security operatives in the video hold the banner that Ezekwesili had held during the protest.

A voice can also be heard clearly demanding for a phone.

After the encounter, the former Education Minister tweets: “I stood my ground and refused that my banner be seized. Then read my urgent message to the president, titled, ‘Act now: Enough is now totally and truly enough!’

“I hung my banner here. It shall stand as a witness against any that dares to remove it.”
