President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday appointed Ibrahim Muhammad as acting chief justice of Nigeria (CJN).
Muhammad was appointed after Buhari suspended Justice Walter Onnoghen, immediate past CJN.
Buhari said the suspension was based on the order of Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) on January 23, 2019.
