“Plateau is scheduled to implement a Yellow Fever Preventive Mass Vaccination Sensitisation Campaign on Nov 22, and ends Dec 1, in the 17 Local Government Areas.
“Various advocacy and sensitisation meetings have been scheduled to create demands for the campaign and reduce the occurrence of non-compliance, ’’ he stated.
According to the chairman, there is a need for urgent and proactive measures to be taken by the Federal Government and all States’ Ministries of Health to arrest the Yellow Fever epidemic ravaging the country.
He explained that one of such advocacy meetings was a four-day workshop which began on Oct 30, through Nov 2, at Bolton White Hotel, Abuja.
