Dear Madam,

You have an honest ministry that only few can be called into. You are treating a very crucial angle in human life which has been abandoned by most of our ministers of God/Pastors. I wonder why they wouldn’t emphasise on sexual purity which is indeed the foundation for an excellent life leaving our daughters to learn from a lie and be at the whims and caprices of so much evil when they should be blossoming and positively transforming the world. May God preserve your life. I love your passion and the way you write with conviction. You are designed just for this purpose. Please don’t stop campaigning for chastity.

Dear Aunty Temilolu,

I thank God for the day I stumbled on your Facebook posts. The article you posted about graduating from the university as a virgin has really helped me. My mum had always told me that marrying as a virgin is the best thing a lady can do for herself but I felt it’s not possible in this jet age. However, seeing your beautiful pictures, illustrated posts on chastity, your colourful life and your very strongly-worded articles, I’ve come to realise it’s more than possible and I’ve vowed to God that I’d keep myself chaste till my wedding night. I love you aunty. God bless you ma.

Dear Aunty Temilolu,

I am an ardent reader of the Girls Club column in Saturday Punch. My father made it compulsory for me to read it every weekend and I’m thoroughly enjoying it although I am a boy! May the good Lord continue to strengthen you.

Dearest Aunty Temilolu,

I bought an item wrapped in a newspaper and lo and behold, what greeted me was your article on preservation of one’s virginity! I read it, was inspired and motivated. I tell you, your articles are just what I need to keep encouraging me. The devil has lost his battle over my life. I’m remaining a virgin till my wedding night. Please keep praying for me. Thanks for being a blessing!

My darling, precious, glorious, dignified, world-famous and heavenly celebrated Nigerian sisters,

We are still on passing through the university untouched, unpolluted, unspoiled and graduating as a virgin. If you are just reading this for the first time, you can Google GIRLS, HERE’S HOW TO PASS THROUGH THE UNIVERSITY AND GRADUATE AS A VIRGIN! You’ll find the entire series or just visit my Facebook/Temilolu Okeowo. May the mighty power of God hit you and let it sink in your hearts in Jesus name!

I have discussed the following tips:

  1. Defining your goal and main purpose at the higher institution
  2. Your spirituality as a weapon
  3. Mind the type of friends you keep
  4. Avoid the distraction called boyfriend
  5. Avoid seductive dressing
  6. Have a minimal social life

Most teenagers view their parents’ restrictions on their social life as unreasonable and wicked especially when they are surrounded by friends whose parents are permissive. I felt so decades ago so I don’t even want to start imagining what goes on out there today! The higher institution where your parents won’t live with you on campus is just what a lot of teenagers are waiting for because of unlimited freedom to be anywhere at any time. I know a good number of girls who were raped because they decided to accompany a friend to her boyfriend’s house and got entangled with one guy or the other. Believe me, MOST TEENAGE BOYS WHO ARE NOT CLOSELY MONITORED AND MENTORED BY THEIR PARENTS DON’T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING! And this is why a good number of them feel they can over-power a girl and sleep with her by force! You don’t want to get yourself wounded by any demonised boy’s madness. That word “demonised” may sound harsh but it’s just the way to describe anyone who thinks he can rape a girl and get away with it. Don’t forget a lot of these boys drink alcohol, smoke weed and are so high on lewd lyrics which debase females and turn them to sex objects! If I were you, I wouldn’t even get too close to a girl who’s engaging in sex because before long, she’ll convince you!

Also, while I won’t advise you to be an island, you really don’t have to attend club parties/raves. Everything that happens there is completely against God. It’s usually a gathering of immorality and exploitation. It’s safe to attend birthday celebrations as long as it doesn’t stretch into the night. You will agree with me that a lot of evil goes on at night! And you must be so sure you know the celebrant so well and confident you won’t get into trouble.

A lot more is coming your way my sweets! The point is there’s time for everything. Concentrate on your mission at the university and shine like the star that you are. Believe me that might end up being your saving grace!

To be continued.
