BOMADI—Immediate past Deputy Majority Leader, Bomadi Legislative Assembly, Delta State,  Mulade Yerindideke, has declared his intention to represent the people of Patani/Bomadi federal constituency at the National Assembly in 2019.

Yerindideke, who hails from Esanma Ward 3, made the declaration at the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Secretariat, Bomadi town, headquarters of Bomadi LGA of Delta State, after his formal defection from the People Democratic Party, PDP to SDP in April this year.

The lawmaker said since inception of the present political dispensation in 1999, Patani/Bomadi federal constituency has been occupied by a single person and the same person was preparing again for 2019. He said that was why he was vying for the Abuja seat to effect a change in the constituency from the one man show syndrome.

Yerindideke promised to carry out youth empowerment schemes when elected, adding that the needed development in the riverine constituency will be his priority as a lawmaker at the national level if he emerges.
