The tragic news of the death of Professor Pius Adesanmi, a Nigerian- Canadian Professor in the ill-fated Ethiopian Airways crash in Addis Ababa enroute Nairobi, Kenya has continued to evoke heartrending emotions just as tributes have continued to trickle in from different quarters.
A retired Nigerian Ambassador, Abiodun Bashua was also among the 157 victims who lost their lives.
According to reports, he was on his way to attend an AU conference.
Adesanmi was the Director at The Institute of African Studies (IAS) at Carleton University till his death and a professor of English.
