The government of Singapore, through Enterprise Singapore, has invited the Chief Executive Officer of Jumia Nigeria, Mrs Juliet Anammah, to lead discussions around the digital economy, business financing, and consumerism at the 2018 Africa Business Forum in Singapore.

Anammah, who would be joined by other business leaders across Africa and Asia, will also provide insights on consumer behaviour at the forum.

According to Jumia, Enterprise Singapore is the country’s agency vested with the responsibility of championing enterprise development and organising the 2018 Africa Business Forum slated to hold on August 28 and 29, 2018 in Singapore.

It said that the company’s CEO would be joining on ASBF 2018’s first  panel session, alongside Haresh Aswani of Tolaram Group; Pieter Cilellers of Tana Africa Capital; Edward Kieswetter of GEMSAfrica Limited; and Tauriq Brown of South Africa Thai Chamber of Commerce, to discuss the topic, ‘Consumerism: Capturing Africa’s Rising Consumption.’

“During the panel session, Anammah would provide data-driven insights on the factors influencing consumers’ choices, buying behaviour, among others,” a statement from Jumia read.
