Influence to Inspire Leadership Empowerment Initiative, a non-governmental organisation, said it has concluded arrangement to host leadership series for captains of industries and other entrepreneurs with a view to helping them cultivate the qualities required to run a successful enterprise.

The event scheduled, to hold in Lagos from 19th – 20th July, 2018, will have John C Maxwell as the guest speaker. He is expected to speak on “Sustainable Leadership and Growth for a Thriving Economy”.

Addressing a press conference ahead of the event in Lagos, Ms Jane Ivhurie, Principal Host/Founder, Inspire to Influence Initiative, said the conference is an annual event targeted at leaders and decision makers within and outside Nigeria.

She explained that the conference is in two phases, the first phase being the Leadership Conference, while the second phase is focused on skill acquisition and monetisation for unemployed people in the rural areas.

She said: “We expect to host over two thousand corporate attendees from all over the country, including CEOs, leaders and individuals from all spheres of industry and inspire them to reach their highest leadership potential to adopt the influence-based leadership lifestyle for professional growth.”

She assured that with the over two thousand attendees from corporate and public sector expected from Africa, the conference is the place to raise brand’s profile, increase awareness, meet the right audience of customers, partners and decision makers with purchasing power.

Ivhurie said that attendees would among other things gain insight to improved client relationship, team building and growth for corporates as well as premium networking.

She explained that the second phase, the Community Engagement Programme, would bring together various individuals with diverse skill sets, guide and train them on basic skill acquisitions, provide them funding and sponsorship to help develop selected products and business ideas. “We would also provide mentorship and follow up plans with selected individuals to ensure successful business growth.”
