Travelscope Youth Tourism Forum holds in Ibadan July 5

Travel Show, Youth Tourism The 10th edition of one of the biggest annual gathering of tourism loving youths, Travelscope Youth Tourism & Hospitality Leaders Forum (YTHLF) is scheduled to hold at Banquet Hall, Jogor Centre, Ibadan, on July 5, 2018.

In a release, the Managing Editor, Travelscope Magazine, Omololu Olumuyiwa disclosed that the objective of the annual event which admission is free is to educate, motivate and promote the social, cultural and economy values of travel, tourism and hospitality sector among young tourism promoters and stakeholders.

“This year’s edition of YTHLF will rally participants from all walks of life to a day of tourism education with the Vice President, Africa, Continent Hotel, Dr Wasiu Babalola as the keynote speaker and the HOD, Tourism and Hospitality, Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Dr (Mrs) Feyi Obateru as the guest speaker.

“YTHLF in its 10th will not only expose youths to different opportunities in the tourism sector, but also educate and link them up with stakeholders for gainful employment in different fields,” Olumuyiwa disclosed.

Some of the beneficiaries of the aviation college scholarships who have successfully completed their programmes shall be decorated and presented with their certificates by the Director of studies, Stay Up Aviation Institute of Technology, Mr Kenneth Oudah.

He stated further that notable scholar, icon, journalist and youths who have contributed to tourism growth, passionate about tourism advancement will be given awards. Also, some of the 20 lucky participants in a raffle draw will win tuition fee for aviation school scholarships, free flight ticket and among other prizes.

“Youth must be encouraged as they are the future of the tourism advancement in Nigeria and Travelscope Magazine will continue to work assiduously to see that youth tourism are given their rightful places in the scheme of things.
